Saying Farewell to Jerry and Ursula Choromanski

Please Join Saint Therese for a Memorial Service Honoring
Jerry and Ursula Choromanski on Monday, August 3
at 12:00 p.m. at the Saint Therese of New Hope Chapel.

The bond between some couples may be so strong that when one soul departs, the other chooses to follow. Saint Therese is remembering the lives of Jerome J. (Jerry) and Ursula Agnes (Wagner) Choromanski. Jerry passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 and Ursula passed just one week following on Tuesday, July 21, 2015.

In 1968, Jerry Choromanski was a young husband, father of seven girls, and a business owner when he recognized a need to improve services provided to the Catholic elderly in the Twin Cities area. With the support of Ursula and with a deep spiritual devotion to St. Therese, "The Little Flower," they helped establish the founding of Saint Therese.

For the next 45 years Jerry and Ursula helped lead the organization in caring for seniors and their families. They were instrumental in many projects in Saint Therese’s history including building the New Hope campus apartments, creating the Oxbow Lake community and so much more.

Their guiding presence, dedication and warmth will be greatly missed by many residents, tenants and staff at Saint Therese, yet Jerry and Ursula’s legacy will continue to guide the Saint Therese organization for years to come.
